Ortega is Spanish bar that captures the spirit and passion of a fun fuelled night out in a Spanish city. Fiesta to the sounds of salsa and flamenco, feast on tapas, sip a Sangria and soak up the atmosphere. Just like being on holiday, relax and enjoy your meal as they do in Spain – no rush, no fuss and no rules!!!
Eat as much or as little as you like, sharing is positively encouraged and there is a new pre-theatre menu which offers 3 dishes of tapas plus a drink for £10 and which will be with you within 20 mins . The menu is the best of Spain from tapas to paellas plus sizzling grill dishes and amazing deserts. If you can’t decide then try an Ortega platter – six of the best tapas dishes so you can sample a little of everything. As is typical of the Spanish they love children and have an appropriate menu plus crayons and paper to entertain the small ones.
As a bar it offers a great atmosphere plus a vast selection of Spanish wines, beers and, of course, Sangrias and cocktails to complete the fiesta mood. Why not visit for some food before the Theatre and drop back in for a post theatre beverage and discussion about the show.
We have visited Ortega three times now. Once in London and twice in Milton Keynes theatre district. The food is excellent, fresh salads, tasty meats and delicious deserts.
The staff are friendly and efficient.
Their lunchtime menu is very good value for money. The restaurand has a lovely atmosphere and i would highly recommend it.

We visited Ortega on Saturday 23rd August and had a wonderful meal in lovely surroundings. This was our first visit but won't be our last. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is calm and serene - just what we needed for a relaxing night out! Our waiter was fantastic, giving recommendations when asked and being consistently polite. Ten out of ten - and can't wait to go back again :-)
